From The Principal...Greetings!
With our new school year in full swing, I would like to take this
opportunity to welcome the many new families to our school and welcome
back our returning OLQP families. This would also be a good time
to revisit our Dress Code and arrival/dismissal policies.
Our Dress Code was developed to discourage competition among the
students. Being a Catholic School, we stress simplicity not fashion.
Please reread the Dress Code found in the Family Handbook regarding
earrings, socks, nail polish and the type of jumper/skirt that is
to be worn. Also, all middle school students (Grades 6, 7, 8) must
have a gym uniform. Thank you to the many students who greet the
school day on time and dressed appropriately.
Speaking of on time…I will never understand why a parent
would deliberately endanger the safety of a child by driving on
the playground or stopping in the middle of the road to drop/pick
up a child. Are the minutes you save more precious than the life
of your child? Please pull to the curb, cross at the crosswalk and
park in a designated parking place on Euclid or in the Marcus parking
lot.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Mrs. Orlowski
