VOLUNTEER CORNER

Mass Greeting Couples/Individuals - Help greet and make our parishioners and guests feel welcome and answer questions that they may have. Please contact the parish office at (414) 672-0313 if interested in this ministry.

Welcome Wagon Committee - OLQP is seeking some couples, families, or individuals, who can spare a few minutes to pay a short visit to new parishioners, personally welcome them, and offer parish reference books to them. Books are provided...all you need to do is share your faith enthusiasm. If interested in this ministry, please contact the Parish office at (414) 672-0313.

Ushers - Assist parishioners and guests at all weekend Masses, as well as Holy Days. They handle the offertory and special collections. Please contact the parish office at (414) 672-0313 if interested in this ministry.

Lectors - Sharing the sacred scriptures at all weekend and special feast day Masses is an important job and Our Lady Queen of Peace is looking for more people to share in this ministry. Since this is a very special part of the liturgy, we ask that Lectors be proficient and comfortable at reading before the congregation. Workshops are held to reinforce this ministry. Please contact Mrs. Lisa Malavsky at 672-2980 if you are interested in becoming a Lector.

Eucharistic Ministers - Assist the clergy in distributing the consecrated Host and Wine at all liturgical celebrations. Workshops are held periodically. Please contact Mrs. Patt Gardetto at (414) 672-0313 x13 if interested in becoming a Eucharistic Minister.

Human Concerns Committee - Help others through organized community outreach projects. OLQP's Human Concerns Committee is extremely pro-active in sharing with those less fortunate. Some projects have been the "Giving Tree", making lunches for the homeless, social gatherings to foster parish community while benefiting charities. Please contact Mrs. Jean Euer at (414)-672-6660 if interested in becoming a member of this committee.

Adult Choir - Members sing on Sunday at the 9:30 a.m. Mass from September until May. They also sing at all feast days and special school weekend Masses. Practices are held on Thursday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. NO special requirements or auditions. If you can carry a tune and love to sing, please join us. Please contact Mrs. Lisa Malavsky at 672-2980 if you are interested.

Resurection Choir - Sings for all parish funeral litergies. Practices are held just sprior to the scheduled funeral. This is a great group of retired and 2nd and 3rd shift workers. Please contact Lisa Malavsky if you are interested in joining the choir.
